With an educational background as a Civil Engineer and a great passion for wind energy predictions, Michael is now a Senior Specialist in Product Performance & Warranties. As a subject matter expert on power curve warranties, Michael has been a key driver in positioning Vestas as an industry leader when it comes to accurate energy assessments. By shedding light on this topic, Michael aims for a more transparent and standardised power curve process in the industry to benefit all parties involved.
Jean-Philippe started his career, being in charge of Asset Management at Cogetherm (CPH Plant & Utilities)
and then, worked for a company specialised in SCADA system as Project Manager.
Joining EDF Renewables in September 2002, he became head of engineering in 2005.
Since 2013, he is VP in charge of Industry and member of the Executive Committee.
Leading a 150 engineers’ team, he covers the complete value chain for new build
assets: Engineering Procurement Construction and Innovation. His technical
perimeter includes all technologies on which EDF Renewables is active (wind on-
shore, wind off-shore, photovoltaic power plants, concentring solar power (CSP), storage…).
He follows EDF Renewables activities everywhere in the world except in North America.
Jean-Philippe is a graduate of École des Mines de Douai engineering school with a specialization in Energy Engineering
Domenico is partner at AIP Management and is responsible for sourcing and executing investments. Domenico joined AIP in 2017 and has been instrumental to AIP investment scope expansion since then.
Domenico has a solid renewable energy finance background with experience from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, DONG Energy (now Ørsted) and Vestas. His industrial background and experience across different stages of the renewable energy value chain provide him with a holistic view of the market.
Domenico is a CFA chartholder, holds a M.Sc. in Finance and Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School and is candidate for the Executive Master in Energy Management at ESCP.
Natalia Svejgaard is Investment Director at the Danish DFI - IFU, responsible for project sourcing, development, negotiation and implementation of fund investments (mainly within wind and solar PV) also through the investment development platforms. Is currently working on pipelines of wind and solar projects in Brazil, India, Sub-Saraharan Africa and Latin America. Her professional experience encompasses transactions in renewable, industrial, energy and climate projects in developing countries, geographic responsibility for project sourcing, development and negotiations in Eastern and Southeastern Europe and Central Asia.
Paul is DNV’s global leader in the field of pre-construction wind energy assessment and technical performance analysis. He is responsible for global governance of services and technical best-practises within the service line for DNV worldwide. Paul is also responsible for product innovation within the service line. Paul has worked for DNV for 15 years and during that time has held a variety of technically focused and management roles.
Dr. Chris Ziesler has worked in renewables for twenty five years. As UL Renewables Director of Advisory Services for North America, he provides both day-to-day management as well as strategic direction to UL’s renewables services. Over his career he has specialized in energy assessments, project development and performance services. He was the Program Co-Chair of AWEA’s WRA Conferences in 2019 and 2020. Before joining UL he held senior positions for renewable energy developers and operators: E.ON Renewables, Shell Wind Energy, and Wind Capital Group.
Jamie has worked with various turbine and equipment manufacturers, universities and standards bodies and recognises value in forging and maintaining effective relationships. His current role allows a mix of engineering and commercial elements to inform and deliver innovative value, risk sharing and cost avoidance. RES’s vision is for everyone to have access to affordable zero carbon energy and for this to become reality, renewable energy has to be sustainable and bankable and accurate energy assessments are key to achieving this.
