Offshore intent: How can we achieve 40GW by 2030?

The UK government has a target to deliver 40GW of installed offshore wind capacity by 2030  – increased from a previous pledge of 30GW by the same date. It’s a bold – but challenging – ambition.

In the UK, there are currently 39 operational offshore wind farms capable of producing 11.8GW of electricity. So, how can we make the significant leap to meet the 40GW target?

What do the wind, environmental and regulatory sectors need to do to make this goal a reality? And how can we come together to plan the best route to success?

That is exactly what we’re discussing at a virtual roundtable discussion, hosted by ENDS Report and Windpower Monthly, and streamed live to our audiences.

Join this important conversation and help to shape the future of offshore.
